Hello,

Would you explain the phrase "hours run" in the sentence below:


The service operations should be performed at the hours run or fixed time intervals specified (whichever occurs first)


this sentence is quoted from a service manual of an industrial device.

Many machines have an hours clock that shows how many hours the machine is in operation. Maintenance is often scheduled to be done after a certain number of hours, or fixed time intervals (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). So service operations such as oil change/grease, etc. should be done at those "hours run" or time intervals.
