Prada Marfa, 2005
Elmgreen and Dragset

A permanently installed sculpture, situated 1.4 miles (2.3 km) northwest of Valentine, Texas, just off U.S. Highway 90 (US 90), and about 26 miles (42 km) northwest of the city of Marfa. Basically, it's in the middle of nowhere.

The "Arab Spring Notebook" is a series of black ink drawings by Ibrahim El Salahi, one of the most renowned African artists as well as a leading figure in African Modernism; his response to the Arab Spring can be viewed at Galerist's project space Studio from Sept. 1 to Oct 3. El Salahi's paintings, which are in a single sketchbook, can be seen for the first time since an exhibition at the Tate Modern in 2013, becoming the first African artist to be given a full retrospective at the museum.

Tingatinga painting, artist unknown

Tingatinga painting is a style that developed in the second half of the 20th century in the Oyster Bay area in Dar es Salaam (Tanzania), and later spread to East Africa. It is a tourist-oriented art.
The genre is named after its founder, Tanzanian painter Edward Said Tingatinga.
The paintings are traditionally made on masonite, using several layers of bicycle paint which gives it brilliant and highly saturated colors.

Cuba Street Scene by Haydee Scull Sisters

Haydée (d. 2007) and Sahara (d. 2008) Scull, known as the Scull Twins or the Scull sisters, were Cuban-Chinese Folk-artists.
They typically created humorous three-dimensional paintings and sculptures of Old Havana and Florida, using paper mache, wire and acrylic paint. These now fetch high prices with collectors.

The Adversaries by Lynnette Shelley

This is a Celtic-inspired artwork depicting a dragon and a lion wrestling in a tangled knot.
In some mythologies, the lion represents physical strength or the physical body, while the serpent or dragon represents wisdom or the intellect.

The Bean King,
Jacob Jordaens (1593-1678)

The Bean King is one of at least six paintings Jordaens painted on the subject of a Netherlandish feast called the Day of the Three Kings (or Magi).
The Bean King references the man who gets the bean in his slice of cake. Not the most exciting prize on the surface, but consider that the bean represents the Star of Bethlehem AND the appearance of Christ himself and that little bean becomes something Jack would definitely trade for his cow.
