Man Robs Bank of $1 to Secure Medical Care

As politicians in the US continue to debate the merits of universal healthcare, individuals in need of medical care may be growing increasingly desperate. To make it abundantly clear that his motives were purely health-related and not monetary, he insisted that the bank teller give him only $1 before sitting down and waiting for the police to arrive and arrest him. It is not uncommon behavior of a few residents in our county to acquire aid from the constabulary in this manner.

But, we have the "greatest health care in the world!"

Just ask conservatives, they'll tell you so! Anyone that disagrees is running down the good ole' US of A.

When it comes to health care, I'm proud to be a Canadian. US needs to fix it's health care system to avoid things like this. Healthy people makes a healthy nation, and US is not a healthy nation, though they're rich. This case attested to that, and it is very sad indeed.
