Heroe's Day is a public holiday in Mozambique. Mozambique celebrates Heroe's Day yearly every 3rd day of February . It was instituted to commemorate the lives of fallen soldiers who fought bravely for the country 's independence in 1975 specifically to the assassinated leader of Mozambican independence movement political party ,Eduardo Mondlane.

Thank you Robert. Heroes Day is like our Veteran's Day. Remembering our heroes is as important as remembering our history.

Yes, thanks for sharing with us, Robert. As everyone from Shakespeare to the present has insisted - let up praise honourable men.And women.

Here are some words which are still said at 9 every night in Australia:it helps and comforts people. Perhaps I can present them here for the heroes of Mozambique?

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Stay proud, Robert, fallen comrades are worth it.

Robert, are things a bit better now than they were? When you first started posting your words seemed pretty grim. Please keep us posted.
