I have been married twice one divorce one died. They say the grieving process might be up to a year. All I know is making my wife's happy. One marriage lasted twenty five years then divorced, the other fifteen and she died, that's forty years total. That's all I know what to do. I am so alone. I am seventy three. curiousone2

Paul,

I am not sure about your health, but have you ever thought about joining a group of some kind which will allow you to socialize with other people? There are also many good volunteering opportunities that you may care to participate in. I know that certain organizations, like the SPCA, have a need for volunteers to just spend some time sitting with dogs and cats, because many abandoned animals feel alone also.

If you are a religious person, you could perhaps talk to one of your church leaders to see if they have any suggestions to make you feel less alone. Good luck to you.

Peace.
