It's a very contentious thing to say that you liked a film.

Thank you. I hope you don`t mind me adding that here it reads that the movie is about teenagers exploring their sexuality. I wouldn`t like to see something with this topic. The only movie I`ve seen that had some dialogs in Finnish was `Ondskan`.

hi bluecloud - if you are so bored - I suggest you watch "Twelve Angry Men" "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest" "To Kill a Mocking Bird" or, in a lighter note, "Dirty Dancing" - I expect you've probably seen them all before, but they are worth watching again. T.

The Seventh Seal is one of my all time favourites. Of newer ones I liked The King's Speech, The Blind Side and Sherlock Holmes. If you like cartoons Princess Mononoke is a must see.

One of my favorite movies is Goodfellows. It is an American organized crime movie. It was made in the 80's or 90's and it still is my favorite movie. Director-Martin Scorceze.

Pretty much all English language, not too much teen-angst, but for what it's worth:
Picnic at Hanging Rock, Gallipoli, The Chant of Jimmy Blacksmith, Breaker Morant, Prospero's Books. ( all from Oz, I believe.)
Bladerunner, The Fifth Element, Gattaca, Fahrenheit 451, Metropolis, The Man Who Fell To Earth.
Pulp Fiction, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, The Long Good Friday, Gangster Number One, Fifty Dead Men Walking.
Party Monster, The Coalminer's Daughter, 8 Mile.
The Green Mile, Glengarry Glen Ross, The Apostle, United 611, Das Boot, Cyrano de Bergerac ( Depardieu Version ), Henry V, Fargo, The Player, Dead Again, A Beautiful Mind, We Are Marshall, No Country For Old Men.
The Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou, Young Frankenstein, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, The Producers ( Zero Mostel Version ).
That's all that springs to mind right now.

If you do not mind animated violence and an endless torrent of curse words, I recommend South Park: bigger, longer and uncut - a classic. Other movies include The Simpsons movie, My cousin Vinnie, all three toy stories, ratatouille. As somebody has already said, if you specify the genre we can be of more help.

Thank you all for suggesting the great movies. I have seen some of them and the rest I will definately watch. As for the title of the thread, shouldn't it be 'recomend a movie worth watching' Instead of 'worth seeing'? Are both of them correct?

There Will Be Blood Life is Beautiful Amelie A Very Long Engagement (based on the fantastic Sebastien Japrisot book of the same name) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind It Happened One Night Notorious (with Cary Grant), or any of the Hitchcock films staring Cary Grant Mr. Smith Goes to Washington Lawrence of Arabia
Also any movie staring Shah Rukh Khan is guaranteed to be full of awesome.
