Alert: not a game here as such, just voicing an opinion about a daily feed set of games on TFD!

I play the MISMATCH (kinda more recent) and MATCH UP (old) games as often as i can on TFD.

I am disappointed that TFD/Daemon cannot do better than to have identical placements of in the answers column.

I play both games and do not consider identical placements as fault. It's up to learning, not scoring, so playing mismatch I am sure to win 15 points, and sacrifice more time to enrich my vocabulary. In my opinion, the fault of MISMATCH is repeatability and self-evidence of matches, thusly, insufficient dictionary enrichment perspective.

I agree about the repeats in Mismatch. Ingress and egress have turned up about 4 times.

That's true, and it is a bit disappointing. Maybe Admin are not yet fully up and running with this otherwise amusing game.

I also have abandoned. It's become too repetitive. And I'm not interested in points as I fail to understand the value of these.

Yes. The "infirmity, two-piece, and inequity" too are the repeaters!

The words are most likely chosen randomly (hopefully, according to some algorithm and not the false random choice of a human). In any case, if the reservoir is limited, even random choices will seem to repeat, and actually will repeat, at times, more than at others. Maybe they just need a bigger pool to choose from.

I'm tiring of the repeats, myself.

Ingress, egress. We get it. You can set those two words to only a monthly repeat cycle!

And one-piece is not an antonym to either two- or three-piece! They're all antonyms of naked!!!!!!!

Sheesh!

Are there seriously no more antonyms in your reservoir of game words?

Do administrators see this stuff unless it is posted under Site Features?

I just removed Mismatch from my front page.

I was sick of seeing one-piece, two-piece, and three-piece listed as antonyms.

They are all the same thing - a variation of being clothed. Naked might be an antonym!

And if I were to have seen ingress and egress I might have started screaming.

My friend tell me that the answer of both games are the same......

And the question is, why sometimes a word has no antonynms.

I don't think so. The feed is managed in such a way that only one set is populated per day.
