Early Balding Linked to Prostate Cancer Risk

A recent study involving 388 men being treated for prostate cancer and 281 healthy men has found that men in their 60s with prostate cancer are twice as likely as their cancer-free peers to have begun losing their hair in their 20s. Men who began balding in their 30s and 40s, meanwhile, appear to be at no greater risk of developing the cancer. Researchers hope their findings will help identify men with a greater risk of developing prostate cancer later in life so that they may be selected for earlier screening or treated with cancer-prevention drugs. My father nearly died from prostate cancer...and has a full head of hair!!!

Hello, Vickster, I am sorry. This study's aim is point some caracteristics that indicates the trend of developing this disease and early balding might be just one of them.
