This is The Baker's Dozen. It's a fairly common internet forum game, and the rules are simple: - I will start with a topic which requires a list that goes to 13. - One person at a time copies-and-pastes the list and adds something to the list. - Whoever hits #13 gets to choose the next topic. - You can't go more than once at a time. You CAN, however post more than once as long as it's not back-to-back. Please try to only choose categories that have, at least, 13 different answers. My Topic: International Greetings 1. Guten Tag (German)

New subject? Instructions printed on packaging: 1) Tear along dotted line.
PS - I'm not quite clear on the instruction here . . .
You can't go more than once at a time. You CAN, however post more than once as long as it's not back-to-back
Does that mean that JJ committed a foul by posting: "5. до́брый день, dóbryi den (Russian) 6. god dag (Swedish) 7. Tere päevast (Estonian)" all in one post?

Baker's dozen http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/Bakers-dozen.htmlIt's widely believed that this phrase originated from the practice of medieval English bakers giving an extra loaf when selling a dozen in order to avoid being penalized for selling short weight. This is an attractive story and, unlike many that inhabit the folk memory, it appears to be substantially true. We can say a little more to flesh out that derivation...
