From Kingsley's "The Water Babies":

When all the world is young, lad,
And all the trees are green;
And every goose a swan, lad,
And every lass a queen;
Then hey for boot and horse, lad,
And round the world away;
Young blood must have its course, lad,
And every dog his day.

I'm not really sure of the meaning of this quote, but I was thinking that it might mean: Every person, no matter how low, has a moment to shine. If anyone would like to comment,I would appreciate reading what others might think.

The Oscar winner movie Slumdog Millionaire is based on this axiom; A box office hit that acclaimed Dan Boyle, the British movie director as the best Director as well.

I think maybe you are right. Every person has his moment to shine.

I haven't seen the movie Slumdog Millionaire, but I like the name:) Perhaps I will watch it and see if I can better understand this axiom.
