1 There are not two similar people in the world.
2 There are not two like people in the world.

Is 1 wrong?

Meaning - there are lots of similar people. There are no to identical people. Except identical twins, in appearance.

There are not + plural noun
There are no + plural noun

'like' is not a pre-noun adjective. The adjective is 'alike' but that is after the verb.

No two people in the world are identical.

No two people in the world are exactly alike.

Those two people are very similar. I always mix them up.
I don't have that exact pattern, but I have something similar.
I have a similar problem [to yours]. Maybe we can help each other.

_____________

Both sentences are faulty. You are more likely to hear;

- No two persons are (exactly) alike.
- No two individuals are born (exactly) alike.

In my view, the phrase "in the world" is redundant.

There are not + plural noun - Can you back it up? Any grammar source? there are not+plural noun is valid.

How come? Here is an example from a dictionary "I cannot remember a like instance."
There are not two like substances.

The problem is that these sentences don't have "there are".

If you google "there are not people", you will find discussions about this on other forums.

I would say that there are not + plural noun and 'like' as a pre-noun adjective are possible, but rare.
