It was reported on Friday that the police have arrested 29 women of various nationalities, aged between 20 and 47, in an operation targeting pivoted KTVs, of whom 10 of them will be deported as their short-term visit passes and work passes were cancelled.

Can "10 of whom" and "of whom 10" (either phrase) replace "of whom 10 of them"?

Thanks.

Yes. It might be better to end the first sentence after the words "...pivoted KTVs", and then start a new sentence, "Ten of them will be deported..."

Sorry, JJ.

Age has caught up with me!

In my younger days, I was not prone to double postings. So, please excuse me, all posters, if I inadvertently double post.

I am no longer young, unlike when I first posted on this forum.

I think quite many of us aren't very young.
But, writing here, keeps myself a bit younger ;-)

And thanks to your fine questions, it makes me feel worth of something.

Posting questions helps to keep my mind active. It is a good exercise for my mind. And I'm glad you appreciate my questions.
