Arrived with Hitler? The Germans had it they were taking it to their Führer Adolf Hitler, or at least the scientists that worked for him. The Allies captured it as it was travelling from where it was found and before it got to its destination. (I wonder if it was by an archaeologist in a battered fedora, khaki shirt and a whip? No wrong universe). Führer is German for leader.
