In the movie Justice League,
There is a conversation between DeSaad and Steppenwolf regarding why Steppenwolf has summoned him if he hasn't found mother boxes yet.

DeSaad: Then why have you summoned me?

Steppenwolf: I bring news.

The thing is, He isn't the guy that has to bring news. He is simply summoning him because he believes he found anti-life equation.

So considering that.
Shouldn't he have said "I've brought news."

Please help me understand this.
