Trump never laughs so this seems strange, but it is a perfect cartoon nevertheless. De Adder of Toronto Star is a great cartoonist. He always hits the nail on the head.

The first cartoon posted on page 2 of this thread is pushing disinformation to try to help Trump's campaign. In fact Rudi Giuliani is being investigated for his part in pushing it.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/11/us/politics/rudy-giuliani-investigation.html

"Less than three weeks before one of the most contentious presidential campaigns in history, federal authorities are investigating whether the material supplied to the New York Post by Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, is part of a smoke bomb of disinformation pushed by Russia...

After months of investigation, two Republican-led Senate committees unveiled a report in September that found no evidence of wrongdoing or corrupt actions by the former vice president in connection with his son Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine.

But Trump and Giuliani have continued to lob allegations at the Democratic nominee, despite multiple investigations, including the recent GOP probes, that have found no basis for the claims."

Donald Trump Jr. on Sunday called on his father to “break up” the FBI if he wins a second term. Wonder where he got that idea? His father? That would certainly help a dictator - never mind putting in loyalists to him - just get rid of the investigating part of justice department altogether. Why not get rid of the courts while you're at it?

During an interview on Fox News, host Maria Bartiromo asked the president’s son what his father would do if the FBI does not do his bidding by smearing the son of Democratic nominee Joe Biden and by preventing Democrats from increasing the use of mail-in ballots.

OMG. Trump's son thinks Trump should break up the FBI because it doesn't do Trump's bidding.

He also complained Trump doesn't have the mainstream media. LOL. Big dissonance there. Trump doesn't have mainstream media for him in opinions because of the way he treats them, but mainly because of his actions. But mainstream media gave and gives him so much free air time that they elected him in 2016 and are on their way now to doing the same thing. Trump himself admitted to manipulating the media - in fact had it all planned before 2015.

Example - NBC and town hall with exact time manipulated by Trump. But that backfired as the comparison of ratings showed Biden was much more popular when the expectation was that more would watch Trump just to see a train wreck because they already know he has no plans or policies. He does everything impulsively by the seat of his pants (that are usually on fire). But more wanted to know about Biden's sane normal policies and what he intends to do when elected.

It's good we stopped that at just two!

Oscar, Trump was for herd immunity from the start. He just didn't say so but it is obvious.

If only someone had told him...

"As well as saving lives, countries controlling the outbreak effectively may have adopted the best economic strategy too."

https://ourworldindata.org/covid-health-economy

BTW - he has attacked Dr. Fauci for telling people how to be safe and now Dr. Fauci needs security for him, his wife, and his children.

I have never hated anybody in my life but I now hate Donald fffing J Trump with a passion. This made me so angry. He has done this to so many good people, over and over again. I'm actually beginning to hope there IS a God at pearly gates.

Dr. Fauci has a 60% approval rating. Not sure tit was smart of Teump to attack him. But them I'm pretty sure Trump is only smart at conning people.

Seen parked on the side of the freeway/expressway in Deep South Texas, a predominately Democrat area. The angled writing says, "Hispanics for Trump". Click on the image for a larger size.

The very first "cartoon" on page two of this thread was meant to smear Hunter Biden, and thus Vice President Joe Biden, Trump's poitical opponent.

Trumpists believe a conspiracy theory because of Rudi Guiliani's smear campaign that even Fox News and New York Post would not sanction. Rudi Giuliani used to be a respected mayor, until like Michael Cohen in his disgrace, he became Trump's lawyer, ready to do anything for his boss.

These are the types of people (and criminals) Trump surrounds himself with. Birds of a feather...

And these are the people Trumpists cheer on.

Drain the swamp indeed!

This is a real photo, not a cartoon, meme, or sign. And it is not funny. But it does help to correct a false impression being spread by Trumpists about two decent men by an indecent man.

"...Karma can deliver an uppercut when you least expect it. For the past few weeks, Giuliani has been shopping around a half-soused tale about Hunter Biden that had no takers, including Fox News, until the New York Post sidled up to the bar of regrettable journalism.

That the writers of this “scoop” did not want their bylines attached tells you all you need to know about the veracity of the source material. This story has more red flags than the Daytona 500 after a 10-car pileup. It has more holes than a 70-kilo slab of Swiss cheese."

https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/opinion/2020/10/23/in-the-borat-sequel-a-duped-rudy-giuliani-gets-a-taste-of-his-own-poison.html

"...Giuliani is a joke. And now the joke’s on him.

Sir, what were you thinking in that hotel suite? What were you planning to do? Why were you flirting with a woman more than a half-century your junior? Why were you playing pocket pool? What might we find on your hard drive? How much money have you received from Ukraine? Are Russian agents on your speed dial? Are you colluding with China?

You see what I did there? Those eight questions are leadingly misleading. They imply guilt. In other words, they mirror Giuliani’s own smear campaigns until the “Borat” sequel forced him to defend himself. If he had decent bones in his body, the shame would turn them to dust.

Cohen just did what Giuliani is trying to do to the Bidens: create a haze of wrongdoing.

Live by the hit job, die by the hit job."

One of the side-effects of being propagandised is the loss of certain kinds of humour: Hitler's, Mao's and Trump's followers are all united in never understanding satire, irony; nor parody and caricature.

The whole point of Cohen's work is to parody - and so, as they so often do - the people he manages to hoodwink often end up presenting even greater parodies than any he himself scripts.

So no-one cares whether this person was rummaging around down there scratching for lice; or, simply, once again just exhibiting the kind of uncouth behaviour that shames professional crime bosses everywhere.

The point is that it's become a piece of history now; and no matter how anyone huffs and puffs about it; this clip is going to be played down the decades so peoples' children and grandchildren can see the kind of oafs who had been chosen, by vote, to shape their lives, liberties and happiness.

Well said, Romany.

I think that applies to Trump as well. If he had not decided to become president when he knew his own background, all the distasteful baggage about him and his family would probably not have been exposed and out there for ages to come.

:::::

Addendum to the Hunter Biden smear by Trump -

This is soooo funny, and doesn't need a sign:

Even Putin is saying Hunter Biden did nothing criminal.

"Putin rejects Donald Trump's criticism of Biden family business"

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-putin/putin-rejects-donald-trumps-criticism-of-biden-family-business-idUSKBN27A0TA

"Putin also reacted with visible irritation when asked about comments Trump has made concerning Putin’s ties to the former mayor of Moscow, and to an alleged payment made to Hunter Biden by the ex-mayor’s widow. Putin said he knew nothing about the existence of any commercial relationship between Hunter and the woman."
