For more than 150 years, only male cadets were allowed to attend the Citadel, an elite military college in South Carolina. She was not the first woman to gain admission to the Citadel, but today Nancy Mace became the first woman to graduate from this 156-year-old state-supported military college. Ms.9 mai 1999
