Hello guys!

I know there are lots of information at the internet about this kind of topic.
But what I wanted to ask is about your own experience that has been effective in removing acne marks or maybe preventing pimples?

Any information about it you can share would be highly appreciated.

Thanks much!

Keep foreign substance off your skin, e.g. makeups, lotions, etc.

Keep you skin typical hygiene,

Do not eat foods with heavy oil contents.

Much of what causes acne is beyond your control, it is hereditary. With time your complexion will improve.

Almost none of the store bought products reduce lesions.

1. Lemon Juice Facial. Simply take a cotton ball, dab it with some lemon juice, then start massaging your acne scars thoroughly. The acidity will soften the skin and reduce the appearance of the scars. Let it stay on for about 20 minutes and then wash it away with warm water.

2. Tomato Face Mask. Yet another simple home acne remedy that can help to get rid of acne scars. Simply take a tomato, slice it in two, and then start rubbing your scars with one of the halves. This has a 2 prong effect, which is to lighten the scars and increase skin elasticity. Wash it away after 20 minutes.

3. Egg Whites. Use a cotton ball to massage egg white into your skin. The whites of an egg have very powerful healing qualities which can help to heal your scarring and make it significantly less visible.

4. Cucumber Juice. This is a great technique for reducing inflammation and increasing elasticity. Since there is no acidity in cucumber juice, there is no need to wash it off immediately. Leave it on and be sure to repeat this remedy daily.

5. Baking Soda Remedy. An excellent and very popular method for how to get rid of acne scars naturally, as it helps to unclog your pores, it kills acne causing bacteria, and it even helps to exfoliate the skin. Simply combine water and baking soda and mix it thoroughly into a paste. Apply this mixture to your acne scars and let it sit for about 2 to 3 minutes, then rinse and wash your skin well. Use this technique twice daily.

6. The Honey Rub. An excellent way to smooth out the skin and clean your pores. Use warm-hot water to clean your face, then quickly pat the skin dry. This will open up the pores and allow the honey to get in there. Apply the honey liberally to the areas affected by acne scars AND all around these areas too.

Wait for about 20 minutes, then wash your face again with warm-hot water. Dry your face for a second time and then rub an ice cube all over your skin, thereby closing the pores. This technique, like any other, won't completely get rid of acne scars all on it's own, but it will greatly help if you include it in your routine.

7 Heal them with olive oil: Olive oil is truly a miracle substance. It does not only make your food taste better, it also improves the condition of your skin and reduces your acne scars. Massage the oil on affected parts of your skin every day. It has moisturizing properties that soften the texture of your skin and reduce the prominence of your acne scars

Completely getting rid of acne scars takes a long time. Getting rid of scars isn't very easy.

Squeezing or picking at acne can damage the skin tissue around the acne. This can lead to the scarring that is such a concern for many people.

If the nature of your scars is mild to moderate, then home remedies are sufficient. There are many lotions based on alpha hydroxyl acid and retinol. These lotions are very effective for the treatment of the acne scars. it also depends on the type of your skin. If you have a sensitive skin type, it will be better not to use lotions based on the above ingredients. They can harm sensitive skin. There is a specific range of medications to treat people who can not undergo retinol and alpha acid treatments. The most effective among them are lavender oil, aloe vera juice and rosehip seed oil. They can heal scars without harming the skin in the long run.

I suggest trying aloe vera juice and putting that on your face at night where the scars are.

Also, try lemon juice.
To use the lemon juice treatment to remove your acne scar you will need to first wash your face with warm water. Then pour some lemon juice on a cotton ball, and then gently rub the effected acne mark area. For best results leave the lemon juice on your face for about 10 minutes and then dry the affected acne scar area.

To start seeing results with the lemon juice it can take anywhere from one day and even up to three months. Results will vary depending on the seriousness of the acne problem.

Another big factor in reducing or getting rid of acne scars is that you will also need to watch the kind of oils you are putting into your body. Some oils that you use is just screaming acne come and get me!

One of the most common forms of vegetable oil is the sunflower oil. It is highly recommended that if you are using such oils in your cooking then you should consider stop using them to cook as it will only increase the risk of more acne break outs.

By avoiding the use of vegetable oils in your cooking, it has been reported that it can be one of the leading factors in clearing up your acne by 50%. Even in sever cases it has been said that that people who stopped using such vegetable oils, have been completely relieved of any future acne outbreaks.

Ready to hear this? Believe it or not by drinking more than the recommended 8 glasses of water daily will immediately begin to see results with getting rid of your acne scars. If you are a severe acne suffer you should stay away from carbonated drinks, and caffeine drinks such as coffee, and sodas.

Most things that you put on your skin will make it worse. Vinegar and lemon juice contain burning acids and will damage even normal skin. It is completely untrue that vinegar is good for skin or sunburns. People treated with vinegar and distilled water could not tell the difference (any cool liquid is soothing), but the vinegar treated group healed more slowly.

One of the best explanations of acne is differential growth. Normally, skin and its constituents (like sebaceous glands and pores) grow in concert. But adolescence and other conditions can make them grow at differing rates, causing skin to grow over the openings of pores. Oils exposed to oxygen become rancid and irritate the skin, leading to inflammation and pustules that are invaded by bacteria.

So, exfoliation is best. Mechanical exfoliation with cloths made for that purpose are good, but even washcloths are OK. Removing the dead skin once or twice a day, along with ordinary good hygiene and washings, will make a world of difference in a short time. Exfoliation is also recommended for scar removal, though chemical exfoliants (glycolic acid, etc. - follow directions carefully) may work best for that. Eat a balanced diet with fewer fats and get plenty of sleep.

You can use honey to treat acne

In addition to using pure honey to treat acne, you can make acne masks as follows:

+ You prepare 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of sugar-free yogurt.

+ Mix the mixture into a porcelain bowl to mix evenly.

+ Clean skin with warm water to clear the pores and mask to create acne skin.

+ Wait until the mask is dry, rinse the face with cold water to close the pores.

My nephew has some really bad acne scars and we researched different products and thought we would give dermalmd scar serum a try. Not only is it clearing up his scars, but reducing the redness and clearing up his acne. He is definitely a different teenager now, doesn't hide when taking pictures, and is more confident!

Honey is completely a natural and chemical-free solution used widely for treating acne. Acne is caused due to a bacterium called Propionibacterium acnes. Honey, with its fine antibacterial capacities, is the perfect remedy for killing the germs outside and as well as inside your skin. Besides, honey is also excellent for detoxifying your body.

- Keeping facial skin cleansed at all times (washing the face two times in a day).
- Avoid picking at pimples or constantly touching your face.
- Apply oil-free lotions or makeup and moisturizers.
- Engage in activities that relieve stress.
- Keep your skin hydrated at all times.
Treatment: chemical peels, retinoids, sulfur, oral and topical antibiotics.
Natural home remedies: aloe vera, clay, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar.
I would like to add that it's all very individually. Personally for me it's enough to wash my skin two times in a day and moisture it. If I had a pimple I use tea tree oil. For someone else it could be not enough.

But the following process has helped me in removing blemishes and moles from my skin.

Applying Topinate (Clobetasol) ointment twice a day after cleansing the the affected part thoroughly.

Consult the physician before using this ointment.
