The movie "MY GIRL"

I like this movie very much. In fact, i like both the parts. But there is a strange thing about young guys. I once told a few of my friends who are really into watching movies and reading books that I liked this movie. But I knew what the reaction would be beforehand. Guys always make fun of other guys who "see girlie stuff". This is a rather peculiar thing and I am afraid don't belong to that herd. Yes, the movie is about what they might call "girlie stuff", but how can we boys/men not pay importance to the other sex when the two are so connected in everyday life? I liked how the movie explored different relations, and also how certain incidents can bring about changes, sometimes subtle and sometimes gradual. Anyone seen it?

The topics of conversation were of little interest to one member of the group who chose to remain silent. That night around the dinner table he had an interesting conversation about topics of little interest, one of which was video games.

My nephew and I work on the property of a recently deceased, wonderfully dispositioned, refined widow of Maori ethnicity in her 90's who went out to play bridge every week and also watched golf on TV. She once had an audience with the Pope, helped run an op-shop, and had grown up in the great depression. She would provide me with refreshments so that we could discuss various topics of interest. I went to her funeral in the Roman Catholic Cathedral which has just had a 3 million dollar makeover. Her property is now rented out.

All this may be of little interest to others, or it may lead to some new topics of conversation.

Though officials initially told Ramin Pourandarjani’s family that he had been injured in a car accident on November 10, he had actually died after eating a salad laced with an overdose of blood pressure medication.
