My nephew and I work on the property of a recently deceased, wonderfully dispositioned, refined widow of Maori ethnicity in her 90's who went out to play bridge every week and also watched golf on TV. She once had an audience with the Pope, helped run an op-shop, and had grown up in the great depression. She would provide me with refreshments so that we could discuss various topics of interest. I went to her funeral in the Roman Catholic Cathedral which has just had a 3 million dollar makeover.Her property is now rented out.
