Pleasent as the weather seemed, not many people decided to go out.


Expensive as the new model was, it was actually a piece of garbage.


Loud as the lecturer tried to be, people sitting at the back couldn't hear him.

Thank you both Applause I think this is enough. I don't see the word "endow" too often. As soon as I encountered it and checked its meaning, the word "subsidize" came to my mind. Just being curious as usual :)
