So I read the book East of Eden a while back. The way it's described in the novel. The hebrew word means "You may," as in it's sort of up to you. Like, "you may" become a doctor, but you're going to need to work for it. Implied therein is "you may not," meaning it's your hard work and your choices that will decide.

I really liked the idea of this word, and was considering getting a tattoo of it, but I want to make sure that it doesn't actually translate to "hamburger" or something like that.

If an Israeli saw someone with this word tattooed on them, would they think it strange?

Thanks!

Hey,

I found this great song on YouTube and have listened to it 40,000,000 times. I have no idea what the man is saying though. I've ran it through Google, but it's a bit jumbled. Anyone able to translate into English? Thanks!
