I don't think that this is a bias and I am a woman. Women and men are very different from each other and it is hard to deny that women are generally much more emotional. Too much emotion leads to lack of rationalism and seeing things colored by emotions, the truth may not be truth any more because we feel it happened another way, etc. This does not apply to all women of course but to more women than men.
