Grammar rules about participles are a little bit dim, in my view...

Btw, while browsing the topic, I found two more cases puzzling me: "a shooting accident" and "was shot dead". What's your opinion about these 2 examples?

I guess I'm just not a native speaker, that's why I don't get something hereAnxious ...that's a question of practice,I hope
