Hai Hallomoto,

I was a week out of town, that’s why I am a little bit late thanking you for your very broad and comprehensive explication of the verbs and the many examples. It gave me a clear insight in the use of these verbs.

Thanks a lot again.

Greetings

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with the next verb: to remain.
In Polish this verb is : zostawać (imp.)/pozostawać(perf.)
But also zostać and pozostać.

Would somebody be so kind to explain me in what cases I have to use zostawać and in what cases I have to use zostać. Maybe you can give me some examples to make it clear .
And in what cases pozostawać and pozostać.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi Hallomoto,

Again I thank you a lot for your broad and extensive description of these verbs.

Thanks to your many examples, you gave me a deeper insight in this language.

You made it very clear to me by giving so many examples.

Till soon, I'll fire more questions on you, if you don't mind.

Bye

Topic: thanks for the Polish correction by Rysia

Hi Rysia

Your personal message limit has been reached yesterday, so you’ll receive my reaction a little bit later than I intended to.
First I thank you very much for your help, I am always wondering that Polish people and other members of this forum are willing to help foreigners to learn their language. It is really marvelous.

You can learn Polish from courses from internet, then you see e.g. English sentences translated to Polish, that’s no so difficult. But the problems come when yourself has to make the Polish sentences, that’s more difficult. Applying the language is more difficult. But this way I learned a lot of my mistakes and I hope that I don’t make these mistakes in future (?????). It will keep in my mind ( anyway I hope so)..
But one thing I know, that it takes really a long time before you know this language very well. That’s no problem for me, I have patience.

Again thanks a lot.

Till soon.
