AJC wrote:man in black wrote: It´s such a sincere and wise book. It´s realistic approach about death and the optmisms that emanates from the book are most worthy of praise. Yet it is told in a simple language. I love it and haven´t even finish it yet. Man In Black- I happen to live in the author's home town. Mitch Albom is quite an interesting guy. He was originally a sports writer (still is). He's a columnist for the Detroit Free Press. He hosts a local talk radio show (wjr)that has a very wide audience. He also organizes many fund raisers for people in the inner city of Detroit and around the Metro-Detroit area.specifically for the homeless. He founded an inner city health care facility for the homeless. I've worked with him & his groups at a couple of food banks. His latest book is "Have a LIttle Faith". Have you heard of that one? They are at this very moment putting a roof on the church that is the central theme of the book. It's a very heart touching and true story. I have ordered many copies of his books to give as Christmas presents. If you enjoy "Morrie", you'll certainly enjoy the others. Make sure to read "The Five People You'll Meet In Heaven". Onward & Upward
This says he lives in Detroit. You can correct this. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitch_Albom
