Topic: The majority of husbands remind me of an orangutan trying to play the violin.

“The majority of husbands remind me of an orangutan trying to play the violin.
Honore de Balzac (1799-1850)”

This is a good analogy.

So true, Violins are very temperamental…they are highly sensitive to slight changes; but if one spend a lot, i meant A LOT, of time understanding, refining, perfecting the touches or notes placing, one can make a Violin sing.

“Some violins are very highly strung.

I think he was referring that a husband trying to understand a woman. “

BravoApplause, but...i am not sure if Violins are male or female, cuz they are both difficult to understand in their own ways.

one should know that nothing is free. the mere fact of one's existence requires some form of duties. nonetheless, we still like to challenge STC's statement cuz it is our "duty" to challenge "authorities."

Shame on you Must not say P word on TFD, didn't you get the memo? The P word is forbidden here.Silenced

why so, if so.

i was actually wondering if enough people like something, then if TFD would consider or it is only an open forum for discussions and opinions.

not sure if there is ever a resolution for anything, except that TFD is an outlet for expression.

thx.
