In Danish and Swedish we have another idiom: "to circle round the hot porridge like a cat"! ;-)
Naturally, the hot porridge being a symbol of the delicate subject which will sooner or later become cold enough to touch.

No, Jyrkkä Jätkä, it's definitely skål in Danish as well! ;-)
The letter å replaced aa in Danish writing in 1948.

Helenej do you drink it as it is or do you mix it with e.g. water or club soda?
If it is the latter, I would probably call it (fruit) syrup.

I once heard somebody say about Danes: "Danes don't drink coffee - they simply gulp it down!".

Looking at the amount of coffee consumed per capita in Denmark there may be some truth to that... Think
