Topic: Fiesta sa EDSA

Interesting that this Philippine holiday is called "Fiesta sa EDSA" here, when we Filipinos just call it the "People Power anniversary" or simply "EDSA" (after the acronym of the highway that it happened in), and there is certainly NO FIESTAS happening during this day. This is usually a day where a lot of street demonstrations from various interest groups converge on the streets to either celebrate the anniversary, or criticize the government. So this is a day where most people either stay at home to avoid the traffic, or a day go to the mall.
