Hi,

Give me coffee to change the things I can and wine to accept the things I can't.

The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.

These will be framed and given to a friend who drinks as much coffee as wine and travels extensively!

Thank you.
Topic: How to say Doge and spelling Doge (meme)

According to Italian Historia Giovanni Villani, in his Chronicles, Doge derived from the latin word Dux and later translated in to Dogia or Doge also meaning Duke as in Dogia of Austria.

Hi DRAGO,

I agree completely. Spoilered, quite simply, does not sound right at all and that is the reason that made me question this word.

Once again, please correct my English. Thank you.

Hi DRAGO

I came across this word in The Guardian, Crossword Blog, 12.07.15. I understood the sense, but I failed to find it in the dictionary for better accuracy.

What am I missing here? ...the puzzle is well worth your time, even with my having spoilered the theme.

I was unsure if this word had previously been discussed in this forum. Is there any way for me to check this?

Thank you.

Hello ITHINK,

Thank you very, very much for reaching out. The only thing wrong with me would be my curious mind and my immeasurable taste for mysteries. This BBC article was totally fascinating, it fired up my imagination and I wanted to know as much as I could about this case. There is an answer somewhere and I look forward to reading about it someday.

Hello DragOn,

It seems you never fail me. Thank you very much for helping me on this. Au Revoir. Should I say: À bientôt!
One more thing. Would you mind correcting my English when I do write something?
