Although English is not part of the Romance languages group, I noticed that lots of English terms derive from Latin because they present Latin roots.
Thus, the knowledge of Latin has been very useful for me in understanding and learning English words!Angel

Did you ever paid attention to this linguistic aspect of the English language?
Did you found any Latin roots?
Can you list the ones you know?
What Latin roots do you think are the most prolific in the English language?

(I hope to have expressed my topic in an understandable way, if not, let me know and I will try to be more clear).
