You do the same thing. If your convictions "find" ears brains and hearts, it's an achievement.
If not, you change them.
If you can't change them, the quote doesn't apply to you. Whistle

But do 'reactionary fascists' ever question their convictions or doubt the correctness thereof? Only honest people are given to doubts.

It's totally stupid to follow dishonest convictions, cause sooner or later they will circumvent you...

Let's hope your honest conviction is correct, or you may want to give them up quick.

Each conviction is honest, by definition. Where can you find insincere convictions?

This statement—like most—is situational. If you determine your conviction is honest and it’s only in your own head that you’re following it, then that’s between “me, myself, and I,” so follow it to your heart’s delight. If your conviction “forcibly interferes with the equal rights of others,” then you don’t have a right to follow it. For instance, if you’re convinced that you should commit mass murder, then you don’t have the right to carry out that conviction because it forcibly interferes with the right of others to live. By the same token, if you’re a pacifist (like me Angel) you don’t have a right to fly an over-sized flag bearing the peace sign at a ticketed event if it’s blocking the view of others, because you’re interfering with their right to view the event they bought tickets to see.
