Hello,

has anyone heard of a translator called S. N. Makartzev (С. Н. Макарцев) and could tell me what his first name is?

For some reason the book I have (his translation) gives his name only on the back of the title page, and there are only initials of his first name and patronymic.
(I think it's outrageous.)

I need the first name for research purposes. :) Or to be more precise, for presenting the outcome of my research in a decent form, i.e. with the full name of the guy in question.

Regards,
Mulan

Finally found it! It's Sergey Nikolayevich Makartzev (Сергей Николаевич Макарцев). :)
