VIRID.- greenness, greenishness, greenhood; verdantness, verdancy, verdure, virescence, viridescence, viridity. When the pool becomes virid it is due to the bacteria.

The trail was virid with lush greenery after the rain and lots of Ducks, Cranes, Crows and Pigeons were bustling about as I walked around the trail today.
