(adjective) Not fully developed in mature animals.

Synonyms: vestigial

Usage: There is a legend current among my people that once the Wieroo were unlike us only in that they possessed rudimentary wings.

Here is an exercise in rudimentary logic:

Al liesLiar on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays, but tells the truthPray on all other days. Today, Al makes these two statements:

I lied yesterday.
I will lie again three days from today (including today).

What day of the week is it?

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
LiarLLLLLLiar LLLLLLiar LLLLLPray TTTTTTTPray TTTTTPray TTTTPrayTTTTT

Answer: Sunday.
Al can say “I lied yesterday” only on Sunday or Wednesday.
Al can say “I will lie again three days from today” on any day except Wednesday.
So today must be Sunday.

I understand the logic but why is it "rudimentary?"
