prepossession

(noun) An opinion formed beforehand without adequate evidence.

Synonyms: parti pris, preconceived idea, preconceived notion, preconceived opinion, preconception

Usage: It shocked him a little that she should give him so marked a lead: it did not tally altogether with his prepossessions about the modesty of the feminine temperament.

"Common sense is the collection of prejudices acquired by age eighteen." is the actual quote by Einstein. But in my opinion "false prepossessions" require at least two years to become harded prejudices.
