Synonyms: chatty, gabby, garrulous, loquacious, talkative

Usage: After the board meeting ended, my talky neighbor, Martha, cornered me and spent an hour lecturing me about the bylaws surrounding welcome mat use in the building.

I though talky referred to motion pictures after the age of silent film.

Now, I like that definition. Might talky also refer to a person engaged in "a prolonged period of lingual systole that makes quiescence worth its wait in silence"?

Walkie talkies were popular during the Flash Gordorn era - not that they ever worked well but they were the 1st mobile phones for kids.

Walkie Talkie is a mobile phone fromm the Flash Gordon era -we sent in our cereal box tops and really got walkie talkies, did not work well but we were amazed with them.
