In poetry:

More profit surely lies in a holy, pure quiescence,
In a setting forth of cups to catch the heavenly rain,
In a yielding of the being to the ever waiting presence,
In a lifting of the eyes upward, homeward again!

Does this inaction have a positive or negative connotation?

I do so enjoy my quiescent period in the mid afternoon's of our Arizona summers. And I should add, that it sounds so much better then nap time... :-)
