I am proud to say, New Zealand, then Australia were the first two countries in the world to give women the vote.
Not bad for Colonials.
In the late 1800's & very early 1900's.

As far as permanent right to vote is concerned Finland was after New Zealand and Australia the third country in the world and the first in Europe to give women the vote. We gave it in the year 1906.
