It is essential to seek out enemy agents who have come to conduct espionage against you and to bribe them to serve you. Give them instructions and care for them. Thus doubled agents are recruited and used.

I like his saying: "The best battle is the battle that is won without being fought."
He's also responsible for:
The friend of my friend is my friend;
The enemy of my friend is my enemy;
The friend of my enemy is my enemy; &
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
So obvious, yet when it's codified so simply, it becomes a classic.

A bribe seems a really quick and easy way to go back then... I don't know but to control a double agent more difficult than to win a war.

Unlike what most people assume, Sun Tzu is not a person but a group of authors.

A colleague of mine once said that having power gives the person erotic attraction. Maybe for dirty old men. *sigh*

Sun Tzu (544 BC-496 BC)

Sun Tzu described a nation's politician in the hands of the Debt Money Monopoly Banking Cartel.

“When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain.”
~Napoleon (Napoleon was a tyrant, but he was an extremely astute tyrant)

Better way is to make the enemy's agents unaware of your deeds at the first glance and let them follow their tasks. Then your enemies will pursue their wishes and be eventually caught by the sight of your enemies who are under pressure from the above force.

I like the fact that business people and politicians have co-opted so many of these teachings for business and politics. Not because I think it's a good idea, but because I think it shows how highly they think of themselves to believe that running a business is the same as fighting in battle.

Very good advice, Sun Tzu, but here in America we just water-board them along with using other acts and forms of torture. And we tell ourselves that we are the "leaders of the free world"; you just, "gat'a-love" this country. Could this be, just maybe why so many other society's and cultures hate American's as much as they do?????

Following the master....

CIA turned Guantánamo Bay inmates into double agents, ex-officials claim

In the early years after 9/11, the CIA turned some Guantánamo Bay prisoners into double agents then sent them home to help the US kill terrorists, current and former US officials said.

The CIA promised the prisoners freedom, safety for their families, and millions of dollars from secret accounts.

It was a risky gamble. Officials knew there was a chance that some prisoners might quickly spurn their deal and kill Americans. For the CIA, that was an acceptable risk in a dangerous business. For the American public, which was never told, the programme was one of the many secret trade-offs the government made on its behalf. At the same time the government used the fear of terrorism to justify jailing people indefinitely, it was releasing dangerous people to work for the CIA.

"Thus double agents are recruited and used"... manifold, over and over again, until everybody is thoroughly confused.

Is this propaganda to cover for the ex-Gitmo terrorists out rounding up more profits for the military complex in the form of Christian and moderate Muslim genocidal armies?

The CIA is a creature of the Debt Money Monopolists and their internal name is even "The Company." Most agents are compartmentalized, but their are plenty of black ops operators and management is as evil and Machiavellian as they come.

Overcoming evil with evil? That's a non starter, but even if one thinks that's an option, it is too late... they beat you to the evil first...

Having said that, one can take on their perception and then the world's machinations take on a very coherent thread... evil, but coherent.
