Charles Darwin was a naturalist with a medical education. He did not scientifically observe psychological phenomena. His assertion about courage, pugnacity, and inventiveness are mere XIX century general assumptions, thereby non-scientific. And even about energy, men may have more muscular strength, but energy is more than that, as it can also consist of "intensity or vitality of action or expression" (TFD), or physical endurance. Well, women are named wommen and men, men. Let's be ok, at least, that there are some differences. For sure, different don't mean higher nor lower. Just, different colors that paint our world. And colors are not limited to black and white.

By the nineteeth century, this quotation was true,but now, referring to Darwin´s theory of evolution - women has evolved quicker than men,only by having access to education,having a profession to earn her living, no need to marry, artificial insemination etc. BUT, Does it matter that men "be more courageous, pugnacious energetic, the brain size....? The most important between men and women is the complement, the equilibrium of characters,projects, love, commitment. Not all men are courageuos,pugnacious,energetic.. they will look for a woman who has those charasteristics to form " a convex and concave couple as a song says. Really, woman and men are different- realism and fantasy, energetic and calm but VIVE LA DIFFERENCE!! We can enjoy life from another point of view. But,at the end Who is the subtle and loving boss at home ? Tell me women.
