A variation on the theme of letter change word games:
Change three letters now in the six letter clue; besides, the first letter of successive words MUST be different.
It would go like this...
HASTEN>>TENDER
TENDER>>RENEGE
RENEGE>>GENIAL

Now take it beyong genial....

Ok, then I must start from the last word GENIAL:

genial >> locate

I don't mean to sound picky, but I want to see if I understand Articulate Dreamer's rules correctly.

genial >> locate >> lactic >> factor

In the move from "locate" to "lactic" I'm thinking there are two problems. They both begin with the letter "l"; there is only a two letter change. Am I thinking about this as you intended it to be, A.D.?

Anyway, moving on--

factor >> stream

edit: Oops! A.D. beat me to it so pick up with "cotton."

COTTON...CONFER
CONFER...INJURE
INJURE...JUDGES

Hey i think we're not paying heed to the rules... perhaps i shd clarify:
Medu: The first letter needs to change; locate and lactic both begin with L; also you need to change 3, not 2 letters...
COTK: Each player makes just one move each time; i began with three moves just to explain how it goes; BTW, Cotton and Confer both begin with C , see?Eh?

Thanks for that clarification, A.D.

I'm not entirely sure where the most appropriate place to pick up is, so I'm going to start with "judges."

judges >> dugout

I think that's only a 2 letter change. I also have trouble breaking that habit from the other game. Wanna try again?
