(verb) Cross one's eyes as if in strabismus.

Synonyms: squinch

Usage: The children squinted so as to scare each other.

Squinting can create wrinkles around the eyes and on the forehead.

I used to squint a lot to see. I finally gave in and bought my first pair of bifocals.

I always thought Horatio's squint on that Miami CSI show helped him solve things. According to this definition, a squint involves crossing one's eyes. Horatio's pretty good as is, but think how much better he'd be with crossed eyes. I bet he'd be twice as good.
