Haiti is not gentle on my mind. Many died from dehydration during the drought but some lingered on to starve to death, they just famished.

I feel like I am famish, if I don't have my chocholate fix everyday.

Agreeing with Christine, but disagreeing with published definition. Once again the dictionary uses the word famish in the past tense, famished. My English teacher would not allow me to do this. If we don't get enough food down to the Haitian people, many wiil famish.

I originally come from a country where lots of people famished, regardless, life has to go on and a little bit of homour in life gives you a little more hope that the world it is not all that bad. Laughter is the best medicine to living life. Too much sadness, you'll be depressed and don't appreciate what you have.
