Many Americans are outraged by the poor treatment that pervades the medical system set up for veterans. Not only do they have to wait for ages to get to see a doctor but they also are often subjected to callous treatment by some doctors and nurses. Many Americans fear that what is happening to the veterans will happen to them if the United States goes to a European-style healthcare system.
