Maltese folklore describes giants as having built the temples, which led to the name Ġgantija, meaning 'Giants’ tower'

Megalithic structures all over the planet, sharing many similar characteristic, hearken to an age that lies in shadow, when human civilization was far in advance of current culture.

"Now" is the eternal present.
