A uniquely Japanese phenomenon, Dekotora—or "Decoration Trucks"—are dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or buses that have been customized with large amounts of lights, metallic ornamentation, and elaborate artwork. Dekotora is popular in Pakistan. It's quite an experience when driving at night to see a rickety truck completely encrusted in reflective ornaments coming at you round the bend. Much like "a close encounter of the third kind."
