I would really like to learn the phrase

"forgive yourself"

in italian. From searching and other translators I have found

"perdona te stesso"

Although I am pretty positive it is a LITERAL translation is this correct and a way it would be used in a conversation between most native speakers?

Any other suggestions are appreciated!
Thank you!

I'm not completely sure but an option might be perdonarti

Ref: WikiHow

In bocca al lupo. Studio italiano anch'io. Non è facile però mi piace. Queste parole sono giuste?

Perdona te stesso is correct. The other option could be Perdonati (without the "r"), but that would be an imperative, not always appropriate in contexts.
CF, you are right, Italian is not so simple! I make my compliments to you, Your words were all well written.;-)
