To almost a freebird: The Gong is such a strange band. Thank you for introducing me to their weirdness. I enjoy listening to their music and watching them on video. :)

Music has such a powerful effect . . . it depends on the day and the desired emotion. It's certainly almost impossible to choose only one favorite. But, here are a few of my top-notch -

By Tool, Schism http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhjG47gtMCo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

By Metallica, Nothing Else Matters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scDdiHIP4ag&feature=youtube_gdata_player

And, of course, this one brings me to tears EVERY time! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl9WMIPzd6w&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Gong and everything...
It was the Canterbury scene that made a band like Hatfield and the North go public.

To almost a freebird: I actually enjoyed listening to Frank Zappa's solo. As I have said before, I think he is a genius, but find his music difficult to listen to--most of the time.:)
