I am afraid mine have some colour, not completely b+w (I did not realise how hard it is to get just greys in colour pictures, but that is a good challenge. Hopefully the pictures stand anyway!)

just a thought, why are all the iconic photo images in shades of grey (even in colour era)?

not very games-fun, over your breakfast, sorry. That is another question, why are most iconic images of bad stuff!

I don't think a colour photograph with a grey shirt somewhere in it qualifies as a 'picture of grey', jeans&sneakers..

PS: Thar, what is that last photo of yours? The one of the woman taking a picture of all the little white people-figures? I'd like to know more about it. I like it!
edit: excusez-moi, not the last pic, the last pic in your last-but-one post.

I don't see j+s pic, have to wait till I am a non-blocked computer....

the picture is of an installation by Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo in 2009, she placed ice figures in Gendarmenmarkt square in Berlin to highlight global warming and the destruction of the ice-caps.

amazing how easily we can anthropomorphose melting blobs of amorphous ice. I like the one that is resting on the shoulder of his neighbour...

edit - corrected gender, sorry Nele, my brain had moved on to Andy Goldsworthy and his summer snowballs!

It's ok if there is SOME colour seen (like the yellow eyes of the owl) as long the idea of the image is tones and shades of black and white.
