(noun) An expression of strong disapproval; pronouncing as wrong or morally culpable.

Synonyms: condemnation

Usage: Jo stood aloof, meanwhile, trying to harden her heart against him, and succeeding only in primming up her face into an expression of entire disapprobation.

This lexicon sounds unspeakable, gruesome, awful. spine-chilling, abominable, abhorrent, atrocious, dreadful, unpleasant, nightmarish, obnoxious, horrendous, vile, grisly, and blood-curdling to me, not as synonyms of it.
