Since many posters like to share YouTube video clips in many threads,
could it be possible to add a new linking tag button in forum editor,
used like Image or Create link and shown in post text as:

Let us try visualizing the pros and cons of such a move.

I'll bet there is a video on YouTube showing how to do that.

TFD system staff would have to add a new tag definition (the actual html code) for such a button to function. I'd bet everyone have seen an embedded video on different kind of sites, also in forums. Like:

This is just an embedded example image, so clicking the Play button in the middle won't show the video.

I think the idea is good. We can have a tag for videos.

'Tis.

It would be convenient to present material that complements the discussion inline with the rest of the thread. As the adage goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words." So how much more valuable would a moving picture with stereo sound be?

Yet the whole point of a language forum is to "use your words" in order to express oneself. How do the graphical and musical arts relate to that mandate? In what way are they complementary, yet not a distraction?

Many YouTube videos have been presented here to give an example of pronunciation or dialects.

We will keep this request in mind, but it will likely be some time before such a feature is made available.
